Changing Industries

Dubai is home to wonderful architectural developments and breathtaking designs. Dubai which was earlier popular as a famous shopping destination has now shifted focus to real estate. It has become an international hotspot for real estate and property. The prices of property have been rising consistently since the past few years due to persistent increase in demand of real estate. The most important reason for the spurt in real estate is that property laws in Dubai are investor friendly allowing overseas and foreign investors’ freehold ownership of land and property. Moreover the ease with which present owners can sell or rent out their property has made Dubai a favored location among foreigners. A person who owns freehold property in particular areas get a three year renewable residence visa and this feature makes investment in certain designated areas more attractive for foreign investors.

Dubai is located at a favorable location as it is the meeting place for Europe, Asia and Africa. It is the hub for tradeshows and exhibitions. Dubai has excellent infrastructure and facilities for organizing these events with favorable locations like the Dubai World Trade Center and many such other locations. Many multinational companies have set up their offices in Dubai and this translates into greater interest in Dubai real estate on the part of these companies. Dubai has high quality hotels and resorts to woo tourists and it has splendid beaches, desert safaris, snowboarding on sand dunes, golf played at world renowned courses and the most popular Dubai shopping experience which makes Dubai an interesting place to invest in property and real estate. According to an article published in the economic times dated 26th July 08 written by Peter Riddoch, Dubai has became a popular real estate investment option due to the incentives available for investing there. People prefer to buy property in Dubai as the rates are quite low compared to those prevailing in various developed countries. Dubai is emerging as an international destination for property investors due to open nature of their society, the safe environ and the ease with which finance is available. This news report states that large as it is extremely easy for Indians to own property in Dubai.

There are no restrictions on the kind of Dubai property a person can buy making it easy for foreign investors to buy an apartment or land without any limit on the size of property. Buying and selling property is very easy and straightforward and a person can repatriate the proceeds without any hassle. The legal system is very transparent which requires documents like the buyer’s passport copy, communication address and the token receipt as the necessities for investment in real estate.

That’s not to say it isn’t as exciting and popular today as it has ever been, but that its history goes back much further than most people realize. In fact, Bingo dates back to early 16th century Italy. Back then, its name wasn’t Bingo, but “Lo Giuoco del Lotto d’Italia”, which translates loosely to “The Clearance of the Lottery of Italy”. Indeed, the game has evolved over the years, but never lost popularity. Even today, while many people associate Bingo with the elderly, there is also a thriving online community devoted to playing, both for money and for fun. It has also retained popularity among young adults, and college students.

There are many restaurants and pubs that have their own “Bingo Night”, which for many of these establishments, is one of the busier and more active nights of the week. Bingo is unique, it appeals to everyone, be they children, the elderly, those who are in it for fun, or those who are in it for money or prizes. It can be as relaxed and casual as you like, or as exciting and fast-paced as you want. Yes, Bingo is here to stay.

With several bills in the mail each month from creditors, people often find it difficult to pay more than the minimum and often have late or missed payments. In order to battle rising credit card interest rates and mounting bills, many people turn to debt consolidation.

There are many companies and organizations to help with debt consolidation with debt advice. To put it simply, debt consolidation is a loan that someone takes out in order to pay off all their other debt. This, ultimately, gives the borrower one payment each month at a lower, stable interest rate. The borrower can now focus on paying the debt off quicker, without the fear of mounting interest. Many times the high interest rates from credit cards companies make it nearly impossible to pay off the debt. To get these debt consolidation loans, many people use their property, such as real estate or cars, as collateral. The borrowers must be very careful with the company they secure their loan. Knowing that the borrowers must pay the loan in order keep their house, many with end up with higher interest rates, and ultimately pay more than before due to the long length of the new loan. It is a wise decision to seek the assistance of a financial advisor for matters of this importance. They are knowledgeable to the different routes of debt consolidation. They can assist borrowers with the options of loans and repayment programs. Many financial advisors can arrange for their companies to contact the creditors of their client to negotiate arrangements for paying off debt.

Debt consolidation can be a great way for someone in significant debt to get back on their feet. It can also be a confusing and hectic process without the assistance of someone educated about the ins-and-outs of the system. However, it is a system put into place to offer people an honest way out. At the end of the day, when someone in debt can proudly put that last payment into the mailbox (without claiming bankruptcy and ruining their credit), debt consolidation can take a bow.

There are a variety of sites that a person can visit for a little online action. These sites typically require the player to purchase one or more “bingo” cards for the opportunity to win prizes. When playing bingo online you can enhance your game play by following a few simple guidelines.

First, only play using real money on reputable site. Always protect your passwords. And, as with any form of gambling set your spending limits upfront. Playing multiple cards is exciting, although doing so requires a little more skill. When playing multiple cards you can increase your odds of winning by playing cards that are very different from one another.

 Comments

Mangaging debt

Home equity lines of credit offer another way to consolidate your debt. This can be a gamble though. While you have an opportunity to pay off your debt, should you have financial difficulty later down the line and default on that loan you could lose your house. Make sure that the risk you take with this type of loan is worth the reward. More popular still are credit counseling or debt management agencies. Each month they collect a fee from you, and a service fee for themselves and deal with your creditors on your behalf. While it sounds great, it’s important to note that if they are working to settle debts on your behalf, it can count as a mark on your credit report.

Know what you are getting into prior to jumping in. Worse yet, some of these companies are simply out to scam fees out of debt ridden Americans. Do your homework on any company you are considering hiring, before giving them a penny. Debt consolidation isn’t all bad, however. It can be and has been a viable solution for many people, but before signing your name on the dotted line; you need to be educated on the potential pitfalls that can come with this convenience to ensure you are comfortable.

Because of this, Dubai property developments are booming. With this boom in construction, the city of Dubai has become one of the world's fastest growing cities. Businesses are now flocking to build in Dubai because of its current growing economy, as well as other key advantages, which include it's convenient location in one of the nation's wealthiest regions. Dubai has low operational costs. It is projected to have an even greater appeal to investors on a larger scale in the near future because of it's growth in tourism and trade.

This blog will list a couple of the most popular developments in real estate Dubai has to offer. Dubai, United Arab Emirates boasts a magnificent structure called the Burj Al Arab which translates in English to mean "Tower of the Arabs". It is a luxurious hotel that was designed by Tom Wright. Said Khalil was the hotel's builder. The structure is the tallest hotel only building in the world. It stands at 321 meters. One fascinating fact about this hotel is that it sits on an artificial island away from the beach. There is a bridge that connects it to mainland. The hotel is in the shape of the sail of an Arabian boat called "dhow". This shape is meant to be a symbol of the urban transformation of Dubai. Another massive real estate construction in Dubai is the Mall of the Emirates. This mall differs from ordinary malls because it contains the first indoor ski slope in the Middle East.

The ski slope is called Ski Dubai and has one of the largest ski areas in the world. The mall contains about 6.5 million square feet of space. Other developments underway are, a man-made archipelago containing 300 islands called The World, as well as a residential property called the Arabian Ranches. The Arabian Ranches will have town homes and various styles of villas. It is clear to see that with the introduction of these most spectacular structures not found anywhere else, Dubai will easily soon become one of the most sought after real estate prospects in the world.

As a kid I was always interested in bingo and would go with my mom to play at the lions club. When I turned sixteen I was allowed to play bingo with my mom. We played almost every night and I loved it. Later on in life my mom became the bingo caller so I went every Saturday night. I’ve never won so far when I’ve played, but I still enjoyed being around the people I was with and the excitement of waiting for my number to be called. My grandma loved bingo and played whenever she could, she had her lucky bingo box with her chips and markers, which was passed down to me. This made bingo even more fun to me because there was a meaning behind playing. It also was good for spending quality time with my mom and remembering how great my grandmother was. I think bingo is a great hobby to have and it can be easily enjoyed while spending time with your family.

This is essentially a game of chance and does not depend much on your playing skills or expertise. Bingo has players across all ages. Some players play bingo for charity while some others play bingo to while away their time. Some gamble in the real sense of the term while some play bingo for fun and win whatever they can. Some bingo players play through huge bingo networks or portal sites. However, it is an established fact that you cannot influence the outcome of the game in any way. Nevertheless, few tips can help you play a more exciting and better game of online bingo. You have the most chances of a win at bingo games with moderate number of players. It is best to avoid overcrowded games. Bingo players can benefit most from interacting with other bingo players. Join Bingo clubs, newsgroups, or chat rooms to receive tips and advice from other bingo players. Such interaction helps you gather information about various bingo tournaments and locate the web sites offering the best bonuses too.

The Spanish National football team is called La Seleccion. The Spanish team began its international journey in 1920 when it played its first match against Denmark, which, they won by a goal.

Spain qualified for the 1962 World Cup but could not go ahead as it had tough members in its group. In 1964 Spain hosted the European Championship which they won and stood at the first position. The Spanish team made quite an impact in Euro 84 where they topped the qualifying group 7 with teams like Netherlands, Malta, Iceland and Republic of Ireland. Spain gave an impressive performance in Euro 84 to reach the finals against hosts France. Spain lost the match against France but this momentum helped them for the 1986 World Cup at Mexico. Spain qualified at the top of their group for Euro 2008.

Spain won all of their group games and finished first in their group. They defeated Italy in the quarterfinals and Russia in the semis to reach the finals. Spain defeated Germany with the score of 1-0 scored by Fernando Torres to win the cup. They are the current European champions after having won the 2008 UEFA European Championship. Trying to get Spanish football tickets for the major games can be very difficult, as they are almost always sold out.

Down here in Spain they seem to be being hit especially hard. Tourists are staying away which is driving down the amount of money our business is earning. Back in the UK things don't seem to be so bad, although I understand Mr. Brown has been in heated discussions with the US regards the global state of the economy.

The football season

After the first weekend of Premiership football has just passed, Chelsea have already opened up a two-point gap over Man Utd, however how long this will last is another question. I’m quite interested in sport betting and I’m deciding which of the two teams to place a bet on to win the Premiership title this season.

Man Utd are consistently strong, having won the championship a record 10 times since its origination in 1992 and having not finished outside the top 2 for the past three seasons. Chelsea, on the other hand, have only came into the fray in the past few years, since being taken-over by a super-rich Russian oil tycoon who ploughed his wealth into the club and allowed them to buy such stars as Petr Cech, Michael Essien and Didier Drogba. Abramovich (Chelsea’s owner) has had 4 managers since he took over, those being Claudio Ranieri, Jose Mourinho, Avram Grant and more recently Luiz Felipe Scolari. Such disruption might work against them, but then again a fresh-face might see them win the title having failed for two successive seasons.

I’m going to be adventurous and plump for Chelsea this season. I think Scolari is the breath of fresh air that the club needs and with Ronaldo out of action for the first few months of Man Utd’s season, they might not pick up enough points early on to keep the gap between them and Chelsea small enough to close.

What do you think will happen this season?

Getting rather nervous! The spanish lessons haven't been going so well either which isn't helping matters.

Have been looking to buy a ticket to see Barcelona at the Nou Camp to cheer myself up; I think I'll try to get to the Real Madrid game though I know those are always tough to get! Anyone else had any luck getting them in the past? Barcelona tickets website seems pretty reliable but I know you have to always tread carefully buying online.

Not much else has been happening really, just been preparing what to take with me. I'm only going to be in Spain for around 6 months (work depending) so I'm taking as little as possible. Got a nice flat organised fairly central to the town where I am working so transport shouldn't be a problem, which is good as I was a little concerned about getting around.

Heading up north to see the family this weekend, should be fun... though have nothing special planned.

Anywho, until next time... Dan.

I thought it was about time I got on board this blogging bandwagon before it's too late.

Many of you probably don't know me, so first a little bit about myself. My name is Dan and I am a 27 year old from Chester in the UK. Currently working as a Construction Site manager. I'm moving to Spain soon with work and I am currently taking on a rather intense course to learn Spanish before the big move. I decided to start this blog after my friends all began keeping an "online journal" (or blog as I have come to now know them!). It seemed a like a fun idea and a good way to keep in touch with people, so here I am with iamdan.blog.co.uk!

I'll no doubt be back with an entry every few days - or just whenever I get bored basically.

I don't think the blog will have a specific topic, but hopefully everyone will find something that interests them here.

Thanks for stopping by!
